Growing up in the Piedmont of North Carolina Jamie spent his early years digging through his parents collection of LPs, 12 inches, and 45s where he developed a love of Classic Rock, Motown, and Soul. After discovering skateboarding at the age of ten his music taste shifted toward the underground, influenced by the videos and culture of that scene.

Seeing the legendary Roc Raida DJ the soundtrack in the iconic Zoo York skate video series inspired Jamie to buy turntables over which he spent hours learning the craft. Once his skills were honed behind the decks Jamie began playing college bars and parties in Boone, NC before moving to Charlotte where he currently plays diverse sets everywhere from local dives, large night clubs, and festival stages.
